The most well-known and cheapest vitamin C is ascorbic acid is not as suitable because of its acidic form. that's why we use:
- Calcium ascorte: it is bound to calcium, which has deacidified and buffered this vitamin C. This mineral ascorte is milder for the stomach wall. This buffered form of vitamin C is very well absorbed. Studies on the effects of mineral ascorbates have shown that resorption is twice as fast compared to the administration of ascorbic acid.
- Ascorbyl palmitate: this is the fat soluble Vitamin C. This form is mainly used by our brain as a nutrient to recover and as an auxiliary (co-factor) to create certain neurotransmitters.
